One of the most heinous political acts of my lifetime was Joe Biden’s use of the “fine people” hoax to promote his presidential campaign. They say politics is a dirty business. This was beginning of the dirtiest political era of my life. Worse even than the murder of President Kennedy. And now the truth is coming out.
As soon as I saw him on the stump in the spring of 2019 (as Hunter was whisked away to drug rehab and image rehab), I knew Joe Biden was basing his campaign on an ugly, ugly lie. No question in my mind.
And yet, the press amplified the “fine people” hoax for Biden without hesitation. And Trump-hating Democrats, many of whom used to be close to me, ate it up. It was the first significant political division in our country targeting President Trump.
Did Democrat operatives like David Axelrod, David Plouffe, John Podesta, Ron Klain, Mike Donilon know Joe was amplifying a hateful lie against Trump AND US, HIS SUPPORTERS?
Yes.
So did Obama, Bush, Cheney, Jill Biden, George Soros, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and every Democrat and Republican politician in D.C.
Were they concerned about the damage it was doing to our country, our communities, our families?
No, they weren’t.
Some of them thought Joe might be able to use that to beat Trump. Some. Most of them, though, knew Joe Biden needed a lot more than the “fine people” hoax to beat Trump. But to them, it was just politics. They were on the inside, unaffected by it, and that’s all they cared about.
