Unraveling Joe Biden’s crimes in Ukraine generates many questions. But one critical inquiry is: What did former United States Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt know about Joe and Hunter’s Burisma cash grab and when did he know it?

Because as U.S. ambassador in Kyiv, Pyatt was the nexus for the many self-serving Obama administration policies Joe Biden devised, promoted, and implemented in Ukraine from 2014 to 2016, at which time Pyatt moved on to a plum assignment in Greece.

Reward for a job well done? Probably. Though what exactly was that job? Because since I know Joe Biden was running a self-enriching side deal with Burisma oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, what was Geoffrey Pyatt doing?

Well, for one thing, covering up for Joe, and for another, enabling his corruption.

And the reason I make these accusations against a man I’ve never met and who by all accounts has a distinguished diplomatic career is because as I write this, Joe Biden is teleconferencing with Vladimir Putin about the Russian army deployed at the Ukrainian border, which will inevitably result in: a win for Putin, a disaster for Ukraine, and more lies from Joe.

And Geoffrey Pyatt knows it. He knows what’s coming. There’s a crisis brewing for the people of Ukraine, and Geoffrey Pyatt is partly responsible. I defy him to say otherwise.

So it’s time to shed some sunlight on Joe Biden and the sleazy diplomats, including Geoffrey Pyatt, who spread those lies for Joe and Barack to the detriment of real democracy in Ukraine.

As I said I never met Ambassador Pyatt, but I did work with him once when he and Biden staffers wined and dined at least two of Washington’s “best and brightest” White House correspondents at an intimate gathering in Ukraine in December 2015 on the “36 Hours in Kyiv” trip.

In other words, I witnessed Geoffrey Pyatt dutifully shilling for Joe Biden at an off-the record press dinner in a swanky Kyiv restaurant the night before Joe delivered his “fire your prosecutor general or lose the billion dollars in aid” ultimatum to Ukrainian government officials.

And it was these two reporters’ approval of Pyatt’s misinformation that the corporate media herd followed, thus obediently buying into the lie that it was Ukrainian corruption, not Joe’s coverup, that was the reason Joe was then in Kyiv.

And let me be precise, the two reporters who bought into Pyatt’s 2015 coverup are Peter Baker of the New York Times and Margaret Talev, now at Axios, then at Bloomberg.

High profile, very influential, supposedly respected, but either too stupid or too lazy to ask Pyatt about what Joe and Hunter were really up to with Burisma and Ukraine and what Joe knew of Burisma money transfers to Cyprus that neatly coincided with a nondescript 2014 trip he made there.

But since there is so much to be said about the reporting and non-reporting done by these two veterans of the White House press corps from this Joe Biden trip to Ukraine, I’ll leave a deeper dive into that for another post.

How do I know about this unreported restaurant gathering on December 7, 2015? Because I was there, sitting four feet from Pyatt, running a digital recorder and taking notes of the ambassador’s remarks at the top of the discussion for the on-background transcript, which was never released to the public.

So in that scenario, the only people who know what was discussed at this meeting are those present at the time and those limited few who read the transcript I prepared.

As I recall, the gathering included Baker and Talev and perhaps other reporters, though, thanks to extreme algorithm censorship by our friend Mr. Google, I can’t confirm any other on-site reporting specific to that Ukraine trip on December 6-8, 2015.

So if you’re a reporter who was also at that dinner, you can remain unnamed for now, though the truth will be coming out on that eventually.

I was there for about 25 minutes, at which time I was told my recording duties were done and I should return to my hotel room, which was a short walk up a steep cobblestoned Kyiv street. And that’s exactly what I did and then I typed the recording into the transcript.

So yes, an official record of the beginning of that meeting exists. And no, due to the Presidential Records Act, I can’t produce it at this time. But it will be available after January 22, 2022, when the five-year hold period for releasing Obama administration records expires, and I can access it through a Freedom of Information Act request, which I will do. I’ll follow that up by publishing it here because as an official document of the U.S. government, it belongs to us, not them.

And one more note on the transcript, without me stating unequivocally who was there, names would not be named. As a background transcript, Ambassador Pyatt and other staffers would be identified as senior administration officials. Nor would the reporters be named. They would be identified as Q, for question. It’s not much of a veil of anonymity, but I guarantee they didn’t expect their names to be published, as I am doing now.

It’s not unusual for a significant meeting like this to have a stenographer present for only a certain portion of it. But it certainly does raise the question, what did they discuss after I left.

And I invite anyone else there that night to self-identify and come forward with more details about who else attended and what else was discussed. I’m sure Joe Biden would love that.

One topic I know for certain that wasn’t discussed was Hunter Biden’s work for Burisma and how it affected Joe’s policy decisions in Ukraine.

And that was really the whole reason for the trip — Joe had to stop an investigation Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was conducting into Burisma, which would lead to dangerous inquiries about how Hunter and Devon Archer were recruited into their lucrative board positions.

In my book Joe Biden Unauthorized and the 2020 Crackup of the Democratic Party I make a strong argument that was Joe’s doing. And evidence I’ve seen in Hunter’s laptop corroborates that.

So this meeting was just another brick in the wall of Obama-Biden misinformation and corporate media acquiescence, though it was a HUGE brick.

Because there’s more to this story than just sleazy Team Biden bureaucrats talking to sleazy biased reporters to protect an even sleazier vice president. This dinner began the misinformation campaign that led to the first impeachment of President Donald Trump.

Colin Kahl, Biden’s recently appointed national security adviser, would have been there, along with other Biden staffers, and probably embassy staffers. Amos Hochstein, Biden’s senior advisor for energy security, was on the trip and probably present, as was Kate Beddingfield, Biden’s current director of communications.

Hochstein certainly had a public role in setting up the first impeachment of President Trump. It’s my belief everyone involved in this dinner, including the media, had pertinent information to deliver to that House Select Committee which conducted its shameful investigation of President Trump in 2019.

And yet none of them did. No one from this meeting came forward as a witness to explain what Joe Biden was really up to with Burisma and agree that Donald Trump should have requested help from the Ukrainians to investigate that.

In other words, not one person at this dinner told the truth to the American people as their president was being unfairly impeached.

Not one.

And understand, Pyatt not only knew Joe’s “fire the prosecutor” ultimatum was in the works during this dinner with Baker and Talev, but he was a key proponent of it — not only via this intimate restaurant gathering but with other communications, as well.

There was a concerted effort, led by Joe and furthered by Pyatt, to “assist” Ukrainians out of the endemic corruption that plagues their government entities. But this was Team Biden’s strategy from the start as a way to cover their corruption. As Joe used to say, as he cashed in from Burisma, if Ukraine can’t rid itself of corruption, it doesn’t matter who’s in charge.

And now Vladimir Putin is taking him up that invitation.

All for now. More to come.
