BIDEN IN 2014 : UKRAINE, STOP YOUR CORRUPTION!

THEN: OH, BY THE WAY, MY SON HUNTER AND I ARE CASHING IN WITH BURISMA AND METABIOTA

One day after Jake Sullivan revealed Joe Biden’s Ukrainian malfeasance to the traveling press (and me) aboard Air Force Two en route to Kyiv, the then-Vice President of the United States brazenly scolded Ukrainian politicians in the Rada for their endemic corruption.

As Joe Biden’s creepy brother Jimmy would say, go figure.

And here’s a telling quote from another portion of the sanctimonious, self-serving, and darkly ironic speech Joe Biden gave to the Ukrainian politicians in the parliament four days after his son Hunter was surreptitiously installed on the board of Ukrainian natural gas conglomerate Burisma Holdings, a move which permitted he and Joe to illegally cash in on the energy assistance Joe was then promising their country:

“Also to be very blunt about it, and this is a delicate thing to say to a group of leaders in their house of parliament, but you have to fight the cancer of corruption that is endemic in your system right now.”

Why did Joe say it was delicate? Was it because he needed their cooperation to pull off his dirty deal? It sounds to me like he’s saying he knew that they knew what he was doing but he didn’t care because he was Joe Biden. That’s basically the approach he took during his tenure as Obama’s point man on Ukraine — all the way through threatening Ukrainian leaders to get them to fire the prosecutor who was about to investigate Burisma and Hunter.

I put this down as Joe giving Ukrainians and the listening world a heads up of the sleazy quid pro quo business he would conduct there. Tragically, Ukraine is still paying the price for tying up with Joe Biden.

Not that he gave them a choice.

And what about Joe’s line of corruption being a cancer? A year later that disease would kill his elder son as he, his younger son, and the Obama White House descended into a deeper and darker cancer of corruption than America has ever seen. If this was a novel, that would be foreshadowing. And in most cases of literary foreshadowing, the protagonist, which is us, the law-abiding citizens of the world, never see the truth until it’s too late.

But thanks to the Biden Laptop, we’re catching up fast.

Then right after that warning, our unethical then-Vice President offered this bizarre statement, “It’s not just the United States.”

What did he mean by that? Typical of Joe to blurt something out that no one but him understands. Seems like he’s saying it’s not just the United States that had to fight this corruption endemic to Ukraine. If this isn’t the height of hypocrisy, I don’t know what is. Only days before, Joe had set up kickback schemes in Ukraine with Hunter and his business partners involving both Burisma AND biowarfare contractor Metabiota — with Obama’s tacit approval.

Then Joe being Joe, he gave Ukrainians another darkly ironic suggestion of resolving corruption through a trustworthy judiciary. And of course, he offered the United States as a glowing example. After what we’ve witnessed with how biased judges in battleground states superseded voting laws to help Joe Biden steal the 2020 election, I’d say this is irony at its darkest. The full passage is in the screenshot below.

And here’s the pertinent passage, which I’ve edited for brevity:

“You need a court system that not only you and your people, but the rest of the world assumes can actually adjudicate fairly disputes among people … decentralization and empowering of local communities -- we call that devolution of power back home -- local communities able to elect their own local officials, control their own budgets, elect their councils … the hardest thing to put in place is, as I find it around the world, is a court system, is a judicial system.  In a sense it maybe is the single most important thing that can occur in any country.  And it’s hard.  It’s really difficult … a crisis spawns the commitment, and the desire, the willingness to make some of these bold decisions.”

Besides Joe (the pot) calling Ukrainian politicians (the kettle) black, he offered a preview of the energy assistance he was bringing on behalf of the United States. That’s the highlighted portion in the screenshot above.

The most tragic line of the speech, especially in light of the allegations that Joe Biden blew up Russia and Germany’s Nord Stream pipelines, was when he declared: “Imagine where you would be now if you could tell Russia: Keep your gas.”

Now nine years later, thanks to Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and a corrupt 2020 presidential election, that’s the no longer an option. Ukrainians are simply hoping for an end to Putin’s ghastly invasion. Joe keeps doling American taxpayer money out to Ukraine like he just won the lottery, but the Russians aren’t leaving.

And guess where the Burisma-controlled natural gas reserves were when Joe was cutting his 2014 deal? In Crimea and the Donbas. And that’s right where Putin has his soldiers.

And guess where Metabiota was doing its work when Joe was cutting his deal with them? In the Ukrainian biolabs Putin cited as one of several reasons for his invasion.

Ukraine, after suffering horrific casualties — military and civilian — and catastrophic damage to its infrastructure and economy, is about to lose the very energy independence Joe envisioned for them. Vladimir Putin’s overt predations will probably stop with the capture and control of the Donbas and Crimea. Sadly, his psychological predations will continue for decades — long after Joe Biden and Barack Obama can answer for what they’ve done to Ukraine.

As Steve Bannon would say, there are no conspiracies, but there are also no coincidences.
